Koobara Kindergarten attended The Act for Kids National Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Children’s Day event held at the Zillmere Community centre.

Our jarjums joined in on the celebrations and was greeted by many fun games and activities. They created beautiful culturally designed art, which included: painting native animals, handprints, scratch art, rock painting and badge making. One special activity that was a crowd favourite was the yummy biscuit
decorating.

Jarjums where entertained by songs sung by local Brisbane City Council Librarians, and sporting activities organised by Reclink Australia. The event was enjoyed by all that attended. Our jarjums and Koobara staff would like to give big thanks to all for an amazing day!
